How to use LavoSafe™

Step 1 – Preparation
1. Remove coarse or surface dirt.
2. Remove insoles (optional).
3. Place each shoe in its LavoSafe™ bag.

Step 2 – Washing
1. Close the bag tightly.
2. Add your usual detergent.
3. Choose a normal wash cycle.
4. Use cold or lukewarm water (30 to 40°C).

Step 3 – Drying
1. Remove shoes from the bag after washing.
2. Air dry or use the LavoSafe™ shoe dryer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does LavoSafe™ work with my shoes (Nike, Adidas, etc.)?

Yes! LavoSafe™ is compatible with all major brands (Nike, Adidas, New Balance, etc.) and works with most materials: canvas, smooth leather, synthetic materials, mesh, and blended fabrics. ⚠️ Note: Suede and nubuck are not machine washable. These materials require specific dry cleaning.

Can LavoSafe™ damage my washing machine?

No. LavoSafe™ is designed to protect your washing machine. The padded interior absorbs shocks to prevent any direct impact on the drum. Over 187,000 washes performed with no reported problems.

Can I wash both shoes in one bag?

Yes, both shoes fit in one LavoSafe™ bag. However, for optimal washing and better protection, we recommend using two bags – one per shoe. This way, the microfibers clean every surface and the shoes don't rub against each other.

How long does it take for shoes to dry?

As with hand washing: 12 to 24 hours depending on the material and ambient temperature. You can use the LavoSafe™ electric shoe dryer for drying in 3 hours.

Is it really better than hand washing?

Yes. The more than 1,000 microfibers clean deeper than manual brushing, while being very gentle on glue and materials. Result: more effective cleaning, effortlessly, and shoes that last longer.

Does LavoSafe™ work on very dirty or smelly shoes?

Yes. For very dirty or smelly shoes, spray them with a stain remover or deodorizing spray before placing them in the bags.

Can I use LavoSafe™ in a front-load or top-load washer?

Yes. LavoSafe™ works perfectly in front-load, top-load, portable, and compact washing machines.

What happens if the zipper breaks?

That shouldn't happen – we use an industrial-grade YKK zipper. But if it ever does, we'll replace the bag for free.
